DSPL7 support & services

Each DSPL is responsible for delivering the priorities of the LA SEND strategy 2018-23, developed to address the outcomes of the LA SEND inspection, at a local level.

Currently, these priorities are:

  • Behaviour and SEMH
  • Specialist Provision
  • Targeted SEND services
  • SLCN (including ASD)
  • Early Years
  • Post 16

In addition, we respond to local need through analysis of local and county data. Within DSPL7 this is met through our Down Syndrome project.
